Today is a little strange.  I had some comp time built up at work and had to take it.  I went in from 8:15-10 and then came home.  It feels like I’m skipping school!

This morning I ate a banana with chocolate pb in the middle.

I did laundry, cleaned the fridge and freezer out and picked up around the house.  Whew did my refrigerator need to be cleaned out.   I also checked all of the expiration dates and cleaned out things that were close to expiring.

At 12:30 I stopped and made lunch.

A turkey sandwich on TJ’s high fiber bread with roasted turkey and muenster cheese.

Lucky 7

So I started out at 154.8 (give or take a few ounces) and I am now down 7 pounds!! Woo hoo! All of that working out is starting to pay off!

For lunch I had a coupon for a free salad from McDonald’s so I got it to go.  I got the Southwest Grilled Chicken Salad with Southwest Dressing.

Today was a lot better.  This dreary weather still kills me, but I think I am over my bad mood.  Work was good today.  We went shopping after work to the school supplies store and took too long! Before I knew it, it was 6 and closing time for them.

My stomach knew it was time to go home.  It was growling like no one’s business.  So tonight was definitely take out night.  It’s usually Thursdays, but I go home so late I switched it this week.  I got gas on the way home and some Taco Bell. 

I got a Fresco Ranchero Chicken Soft taco and a fresco crunchy taco.

I have been feeling pretty full lately and not eating a lot of calories.  I think it’s the weather and my congested chest.  I have got to eat more because I am working out so much! I am thinking of making a trip to the local farmer’s market this weekend.  Gotta stop eating so much junk and get some local veggies!

Dude.  I was in a badddd mood today.  I swear this rainy weather has put me in a funk.  It has been raining since Friday on and off.  More on than off.  I am over it.  I am thankful that it is helping my plants, but geez. 

Back up to last night.  I had a chocolate covered strawberry from the husband’s grandma.  It had a lot of condensation from the refrigerator so I only had one.  It takes a lot for me not to eat more than one chocolate anything, so it had to be just meh for me to stop.  If you don’t like it, why eat it?  It’s a waste of calories!

On to today.  It was definitely a two cup of coffee kind of day.  It still didn’t pull me out of my funk. Hopefully I’ll be in a better mood tomorrow.

Like the nail color?  I painted them during the recap of LOST last night.  It’s OPI Cajun Shrimp.  Very summery.

This morning I woke up with a little chest congestion so I chugged some Amazing Grass before Body Pump.  Soymilk is a lot less heavy on your stomach than regular milk so I went for it.  Normally I wouldn’t have something like soymilk before a gym class, but Amazing Grass is best mixed with it.  It’s all for an immune system boost right?

Dinner was a whatever kind of night. The husband had a totino’s pizza and I made a sandwich.  My parents brought me this big tomato from a farmer’s market on their way to visit us.

I ate one of these chips with some homemade salsa.  The salsa was mushy after a few days and I threw it out.  Yuck. I only ate one chip.

So tonight is going to be sad.  LOST is airing for the last time.  Brandon first introduced me to LOST when we were dating.  We watched all of the seasons together.  Every episode.  So tonight is the end of one of our favorite shows.  Hopefully it leaves me a little less confused.

Let’s rewind to today. Two words:  Carb overload.

This morning I had one of my Mamal’s famous rolls.  My parents brought them down on their way back from Ohio where my grandparents live.

After the mall we ate at Mellow Mushroom.  Hands down the best pizza I have ever had.  I love that place.

I read my “Health” magazine while eating pizza. Don’t judge 😉

We did some laundry and then I went to RPM (spinning class).

Total brain fart! Most of my gym classes start at a 30. As in 3:30, 4:30, 5:30…

Except on Sundays when class starts at 3! D’oh! So I went a half hour early.

I worked out on the elliptical and arc trainer (super tough, but burned way more calories than the elliptical). I did a mile in 12 minutes. Not too shabby for someone who never works out on an elliptical.

I then had my hour spinning class. It was pretty tough.  We had a lot of “climbing the mountain” moments in class today.  What’s awesome of that class is that a 120 pound woman burns at least 600 calories. I weigh more than that so that is some serious calorie burning! 🙂

We went to On the Border tonight for dinner with the in laws. I love mexican food. I got the avocado grilled enchilada.  It was super spicy which is great because I only could eat half of it! Awesome! I now have lunch for tomorrow.  I’m telling you, order spicy stuff.  It makes you eat a lot less.

OTB is right near Barnes and Noble so we went there after.  I got a skinny vanilla latte from the cafe.  I saw on the menu that they have a soy strawberries and creme frap.  Oh, I will be getting that next time.

This morning I went to Harris Teeter for triple coupons.  I spent $44 and saved $42! Woo hoo!  I love saving almost as much as I spend.  I have been clipping coupons forever for the anticipation of triples.  I was so excited that I forgot to eat breakfast.  Who does that?

Okay so I admit, I have been eating a bunch of garbage lately.  Milkshakes (not pictured and things like chicken tenders and bbq).  Time to whip my butt back in shape! 

For lunch today I made myself (it took a while) a healthy meal.
